Maria joined Fifth Third in 2010 to launch and lead the Bond Capital Markets Group. With over 20 years of experience originating and executing high-yield and investment-grade bond transactions across a wide range of industries, she has worked extensively with both mid cap and large cap issuers, raising debt capital ranging from $250 million to several billion dollars. Maria has held senior positions in the debt capital markets groups at Wells Fargo Securities, Banc One Capital Markets and Banc of America Securities. She holds a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA in finance and policy studies from the University of Chicago.
