Bio

Steve is a member of Evergreen Advisors’ Corporate Advisory practice as a strategic advisor. He is a relationship-based corporate financial advisor and has advised companies from early-stage to growth stage and the sale of businesses. He has a wide range of industry experience which includes manufacturing, business services, medical technology, advanced materials, logistics, e-commerce, software, and SAAS-based solutions. He has more than thirty years of experience in capital markets, investment banking, and securities valuation activities. His experience includes advising clients in formulating strategic plans, mergers, and acquisitions, recapitalization, raising capital, and valuing closely-held businesses and non-marketable securities. Before joining Evergreen Advisors, Steve founded Blodgett & Co., an investment-banking boutique based in the Philadelphia area, in 1992 to provide corporate financial advisory services to existing clients. Prior to that time, he advised clients in the purchase and sale of businesses for the Corporate Finance Group of Mellon Bank, where he co-directed the Bank's merger and acquisition activities in the Philadelphia region. In addition, he directly performed or supervised the completion of more than 100 valuations and prepared litigation support for tax and civil court cases. Before joining Mellon Bank, he provided financing to growth companies through banks, commercial finance companies, private placements, and public offerings at two large financial organizations with a national presence. Steve serves or has served as a financial advisor or a Board of Director to several rapidly growing companies primarily in the Philadelphia region. He is a private investor and also served as a strategic advisor to Novotorium, an incubator that focused on promising start-up companies in the Philadelphia region. Mr. Blodgett received a Masters of Business Administration degree in Finance from Drexel University and graduated with Honors from Dickinson College where he received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics.
