Yuji Matsushita is a Managing Director in Evercore’s Strategic Advisory business where he is focused on transactions involving Japanese companies. Mr. Matsushita advises on mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, defence and capital market transactions. Since joining Evercore in 2017, Mr. Matsushita has advised on strategic and financing transactions involving Japanese companies and serves with clients in a range of sectors including Technology, Industrials, and Consumer & Retail. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Matsushita spent more than 10 years in the investment banking department at UBS, Mizuho Securities, and Credit Suisse, having worked in their Tokyo and London offices and was involved in mergers and acquisitions and capital market transactions. Mr. Matsushita began his career as a management consultant at Nomura Research Institute. Mr. Matsushita holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees from The University of Tokyo.
