Will Forbes is a Managing Director of Evercore’s Corporate Advisory business in the Financial Institutions group. Prior to Evercore’s 2011 acquisition of Lexicon Partners, Mr. Forbes was at Lexicon in London. Before Lexicon, Mr. Forbes was an Analyst at Rothschild in London and Hong Kong. Mr. Forbes has advised on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions across a number of sectors within the wider financial services market, with a particular focus on insurance companies, including carriers, intermediaries and services businesses. Some of his recent transactions include advising Lee Equity on the acquisition of K2; the recapitalization of Acrisure; the sale of McLarens to Lee Equity Partners; the recapitalization of Confie Seguros; the sale of State National to Markel; the sale of Bolt to CVC; the sale of Wellington to Aquiline; and the acquisition of HCC by Tokio Marine. Mr. Forbes received an M.A. (Oxon) in Economics & Management from Oxford University.
