Swag Ganguly Bio

Swag Ganguly is a senior managing director and the head of Evercore’s European debt advisory practice. Mr. Ganguly has advised corporates, financial sponsors and governments on over US$500 billion of financings in his 25 years as a financial advisor. He and his team provide innovative and differentiated financing advice, using their breadth of knowledge and experience to help clients in a variety of sectors raise financing across various markets and situations. His recent clients have included such corporates as the AA, Anglian Water, Astra Zeneca, Biffa, National Grid, NortonLifeLock and Open Fiber, and financial sponsors such as Ardian, Bridgepoint, CPP Investments, Digital Bridge, ECP, Igneo, KKR, Macquarie Asset Management, JP Morgan Asset Management, OTPP and Warburg Pincus. Prior to joining Evercore in 2014, Mr. Ganguly was a managing director at Rothschild in its debt advisory business. Mr. Ganguly is a co-head of the TURM Network (Traditionally Underrepresented Minorities) at Evercore. He earned a B.A. and an M.A. in economics from the University of Cambridge.
