Sunil Koshie is a Managing Director in the firm’s corporate advisory business focused on the software and technology sectors and is based in Menlo Park. Since joining Evercore, Mr. Koshie has advised on several transactions, including advising Nokia on the sale of its HERE mapping business to a consortium consisting of Audi AG, BMW Group, and Daimler AG; Clearlake Capital on its sale of Syncsort and Vision to Centerbridge Capital; Misys on its merger with D+H; Sage on its acquisition of Intacct; Vista Equity its sale of SumTotal Systems to Skillsoft; Insight Venture Partners on its sale of LogicNow to SolarWinds; Hellman and Friedman on its sale of Ellucian to TPG Capital and Leonard Green Partners; Vista Equity Partners on its acquisition of Cvent; Apax Partners on its acquisition of Duck Creek Technologies from Accenture; Blackbaud on its acquisition of MicroEdge from Vista Equity Partners; GI Partners on its acquisition of Daxko; Bridge Growth Partners on its acquisition of Finalsite; and Parallels on its sale of the Odin Service Automation business to Ingram Micro. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Koshie was part of the corporate development and M&A team at SAP America, where he helped evaluate and execute a number of transactions while also focusing on developing its cloud computing strategy. Prior to that, Mr. Koshie held positions at Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch in their technology investment banking groups, where he completed a number of strategic and financing transactions for various public and private clients. Prior to that, he was a Software Engineer at Cisco Systems. Mr. Koshie holds an M.B.A. from the UCLA Anderson School of Management and a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from the College of Engineering, Trivandrum, India.
