Bio

Steve Gordon is a Managing Director in the Consumer Retail team at Evercore and is based in London. Mr. Gordon has over 15 years of investment banking experience and has advised clients on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions. Selected transaction experience includes advising Procter & Gamble on its defence against shareholder activism, Danone on the sale of Stonyfield to Lactalis, Quala on the sale of its HPC brands to Unilever, Vogue Int’l (OGX) on its sale to Johnson & Johnson, Hanesbrands on its acquisition of Maidenform, Procter & Gamble on the merger of its beauty brands with Coty, Ascena on its acquisition of Ann Taylor, Bluemercury on its sale to Macy’s, Tiffany & Co. on its debut public bond offering, Post Holdings on its acquisition of Dakota Growers Pasta, Francesca’s Collections on its Initial Public Offering, the UK Government on the nationalization of Northern Rock and United Biscuits on its sale to Blackstone and PAI. Prior to joining Evercore in 2019, Mr. Gordon worked in the Consumer Retail teams at Goldman Sachs and Lazard in both London and New York. Mr. Gordon has a first class degree in Economics from The University of Edinburgh and an MSc in Economics from The London School of Economics.
