Shane Gong Bio

Shane Gong is a managing director and helps lead Evercore’s Asia-Pacific Private Capital Advisory team. Mr. Gong has over 20 years of experience in private equity and investment banking across the Asia-Pacific region. Prior to joining Evercore, he was executive director and CEO of the Singapore office of CPE Capital (Australia’s oldest PE firm, formerly CHAMP Private Equity), where he was responsible for APAC growth and buyout investments as well as investor relations and fundraising. Before that, he worked at N.M. Rothschild & Sons as head of Asian consumer sector M&A, and at the Macquarie Group. Mr. Gong earned a Bachelor of Commerce with honours from the University of Melbourne.
