Santiago Garavito is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice, focusing across the energy sector, and serves as the chief operating officer of the firm’s energy advisory group. Since joining Evercore, notable deals include advising SilverBow Resources on its sale to Crescent Energy; Enerplus Corp. on its combination with Chord Energy; Ensign Natural Resources on its sale of assets to Marathon Oil; the Special Committee of Continental Resources on the take-private transaction by the Hamm Family; and BlackRock on its acquisition of Vanguard Renewables. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Garavito worked as an associate for Scotia Waterous and in public accounting at Ernst & Young. Mr. Garavito earned a B.B.A. in business honors and finance from the University of Texas at Austin, and an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management.
