Nick Chapman is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business, specialising in financial services. Mr. Chapman has advised on a wide range of M&A and capital markets transactions across a number of sectors within the wider financial services market, including life assurance, wealth management, property and casualty (re)insurance and insurance broking. Mr Chapman was a partner of Lexicon Partners, which he joined in 2003. Prior to that, he worked in the U.K. M&A team at Goldman Sachs in London. Select transactions on which Mr. Chapman has advised include the sales of Zenith, CFC, Guardian, MS Amlin, and Quilter Cheviot; the merger of Partnership Assurance and Just Retirement; the restructuring of Towergate; the initial public offerings of Partnership Assurance, IG Group and Hargreaves Lansdown; and rights issues for, amongst others, Beazley. Mr. Chapman has a degree in classics from Oxford University.
