Kenny Yung Bio

Kenny Yung is a managing director in Evercore’s technology strategic advisory group. He is based in Menlo Park. Select transactions include advising Qualcomm on its acquisition of Veoneer; Xevo on its sale to Lear; Aerohive Networks on its sale to Extreme Networks; Brocade on its acquisition of Ruckus Wireless and sale to Broadcom; Vista Equity Partners on its acquisition of The Advisory Board Co.’s education business; Abbott on its acquisitions of St. Jude Medical and Alere and multiple divestitures; and DuPont on its proxy contest against Trian Partners. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Yung was a consultant at Booz & Co. (now Strategy&, a division of PwC). He began his career as a consultant at Accenture. Mr. Yung holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and a Bachelor of Commerce from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School.
