Joseph Ng Bio

Joseph Ng is a managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice, focusing on M&A, takeovers, take-privates, SPACs and other deals involving Hong Kong- and U.S.-listed companies. Notable assignments include advising Huatai Securities on the acquisition of AssetMark in the U.S.; a buyer consortium of SK Telecom and Foxconn on the takeover of Daiwa Associates; the controlling shareholder on the privatization of EVOC Intelligent Technology; Infinities Technology (a Beijing-based TMT Group) on the takeover of Jiu Jun Digital Entertainment; WH Group on the tender offer for Spain-listed Campofrio; Shougang Holdings (Chinese state-owned enterprise) on the acquisition of minority shareholding in Shougang Fushan from Shoucheng Holdings; and China Fishery on the takeover of Copeinca. Prior to Evercore, Mr. Ng was the head of M&A and capital financing at ICBC International and the joint-head of M&A (Asia-Pacific) at Rabobank. He holds a a B.A. from the University of Cambridge, an MBA from Alliance Manchester Business School, and an M.S. in Information Systems Management from The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
