Jon Whitt Bio

Jon Whitt is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice. Since joining Evercore in 2016, notable transactions include advising Crown Holdings (NYSE: CCK) on the sale of its European Tinplate business to KPS Capital Partners; Pregis, a portfolio company of Olympus Partners, on its sale to Warburg Pincus; and Tekni-Plex, a portfolio company of American Securities, on its sale to Genstar Capital. In addition, he has advised numerous public and private clients across buy- and sell-side M&A and strategic review assignments. Prior to Evercore, Mr. Whitt was a vice president in the industrials group at Barclays, with a focus on the packaging, paper and forest products sectors. He advised on strategic acquisition and capital market transactions for public and private clients as well as select financial sponsors. Previously, he worked at WP Global Partners. He graduated summa cum laude with a B.S. in industrial engineering and economics from Northwestern University and earned an MBA from the university’s Kellogg School of Management.
