John Harrington Bio

John Harrington is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice and works on the insurance team. Mr. Harrington’s notable advisory assignments include the sale of ICAT Managers to The Schinnerer Group, a wholly owned affiliate of Marsh & McLennan; the sale of Integro to Odyssey Investment Partners; the sale of Integro (Canada) to Hub International; the sale of Integro Group Holdings to EPIC Holdings; and the sale of SouthWest Dealer Services to Acrisure Holdings. Before joining Evercore, Mr. Harrington was an investment professional at Aquiline Capital Partners, specializing in transactions in the insurance distribution, asset management and financial technology sectors. He began his financial career as an analyst at Merrill Lynch after serving as a surface warfare officer in the U.S. Navy aboard a guided-missile destroyer. Mr. Harrington earned his A.B. from Harvard College and MBA from Columbia Business School.
