George Farber is a Senior Managing Director in the firm’s Technology Corporate Advisory business and focuses on the software sector. George joined Evercore in 2013. With over 15 years of investment banking experience, George has an extensive track record of advising a broad range of software companies and private equity firms. George has led over 40 transactions across both applications and infrastructure software sectors. Recent transactions include sale of Xevo to Lear, sale of Autoloop to Affinitiv, joint venture between Knowable and RELX/LexusNexus, sale of Appriver to Zix, sale of Plansource to Vista Equity Partners, sale of INTTRA to E2open and acquisition of Litera Microsystems by Hg. Prior to joining Evercore, George was a Director at BofA Merrill Lynch in its Technology Investment Banking Group, and before that, an Associate at Lexington Partners and Senior Consulting Associate at Cambridge Associates. George received a BA in Economics from NYU and an MBA from NYU Stern School of Business.
