Frederik Michel Bio

Frederik Michel is a managing director in the firm’s Technology Group in Menlo Park and focuses on internet & digital media clients. Select transaction experience includes advising Blackstone on its $2.3B acquisition of Rover, the sale of TCGplayer to eBay, convertible bond offerings for Farfetch and Twilio as well as the initial public offerings of Chewy, Fiverr, Pinterest and SurveyMonkey. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Michel was a vice president in J.P. Morgan’s internet & digital media group based in San Francisco. Mr. Michel earned a bachelor’s degree in both European management and international management from Lancaster University and ESB Reutlingen respectively and holds an MBA from the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School.
