Federico Montero is a Managing Director and the Head of Evercore’s European Real Estate team, based in London. Mr. Montero has more than 20 years’ experience leading real estate M&A and loan portfolio transactions across Europe, the Americas, Asia Pacific and the Middle East. In total, he has been involved in over 100 real estate and hospitality mandates with a combined face value in excess of €100bn. His clients have included numerous property and hotel companies, REITs, leading financial institutions and private real estate funds. Prior to joining Evercore in 2016, Mr. Montero was a Partner at Cushman & Wakefield in London within its EMEA Corporate Finance operation, having previously worked in Corporate Finance at KPMG in London and Hong Kong. Mr. Montero, a lawyer by training, graduated from the London Business School’s Advanced Corporate Finance Programme and holds an M.B.A. (Hons) from INCAE Business School.
