Fausto Borotto is a Managing Director in the firm’s corporate advisory business with a focus on the technology industry, and he is based in New York. At Evercore, Mr. Borotto has advised on several transactions, including Fortive on its spin-off of Vontier, Bluejeans on its sale to Verizon, Nuance on its spin-off of Cerence, Arris on its sale to CommScope, EMC on its sale to Dell and Silver Lake Partners, TA Associates on the sale of DigiCert to Thoma Bravo, Aruba Networks on its sale to HP, ICG on the sale of Procurian to Accenture, Dell on its sale to Michael Dell and Silver Lake Partners, Crossbeam on its sale to Thoma Bravo, Dell on its acquisition of Force 10 Networks, Exelon on its merger with Constellation Energy, sanofi-aventis on its acquisition of Genzyme, and CIT and EDMC on their restructuring. Prior to joining the firm in 2008, Mr. Borotto worked at Morgan Stanley and IBM. Mr. Borotto holds a M.S., summa cum laude, in Industrial Engineering from the University of Padua, Italy and an M.B.A. with honors from Columbia Business School.
