Egor Nikolaev Bio

Egor Nikolaev is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice with a focus on life sciences, chemicals and materials. Mr. Nikolaev has advised on multiple strategic and financing transactions, including Krayden on its sale to Audax, Purolite on its sale to Ecolab, UPL on its acquisition of Arysta, and Carlyle on its acquisition of Akzo Nobel’s specialty chemicals. Prior to joining the firm in 2015, he was with Citi for three years and Barclays Capital for two. Mr. Nikolaev graduated with distinction with an MSc. in Financial Economics from University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School and earned a BSc. (first) in Economics from the London School of Economics and Political Science.
