Demetris Efthymiou is a Managing Director of Evercore’s strategic advisory business, specialising in financial services, based in London. Demetris has advised on a broad range of transactions in the financial services industry, with a focus on wealth management, asset management and life sectors. Prior to Evercore, Demetris worked at Hawkpoint Partners and before that he qualified as a chartered accountant and chartered financial analyst at PwC. Selected transactions on which Demetris has advised on include the wealth management joint venture between Lloyds Banking Group and Schroders, the IPO of Integrafin, the sale of Intellifo to Invesco, the sale of Towry to Tilney Bestinvest and the merger of Partnership Assurance and Just Retirement. Demetris has degrees in engineering from Imperial College London and Cornell University.
