David Burton is a managing director in Evercore’s corporate advisory business. He focuses on mergers and acquisitions across the industrials sector. Mr. Burton has advised on a number of transactions and assignments for a range of clients across the industrial, aerospace & defense, automotive, and retail sectors, including Anheuser-Busch InBev, Apollo, BorgWarner, Cerberus, Constellium, Duff & Phelps, Esterline, General Electric, Hanon Systems, Heidelberg Cement, JF Lehman, Royal Dutch Shell, Severstal, Snyder’s-Lance, SpartanNash, Teledyne Technologies and TransDigm Group. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Burton was in the M&A group at Deutsche Bank. Mr. Burton received a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and accounting from Emory University.
