Bio

Curtis Flood is a senior managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory practice focused on energy. He is based in Houston. Mr. Flood has over a decade of investment banking experience advising on corporate M&A, asset A&D, joint ventures, liability management, in- and out-of-court restructurings, and equity and debt underwritings. He has advised public and private clients on more than 50 transactions totaling over $50 billion in value, including Caerus Oil and Gas, Chesapeake Energy, ConocoPhillips, Denbury, Double Eagle Energy Holdings, Enerplus, Equinor, Granite Ridge Resources, Rice Energy, Viper Energy and Vitesse Energy. Before joining Evercore in 2014, Mr. Flood was an associate for Barclays in its global natural resources group in Houston. He also previously was a professional staff member with the U.S. House of Representatives Permanent Select Committee on Intelligence, serving concurrently with the U.S. Navy Reserves as an intelligence officer, which included a tour in northern Iraq. Mr. Flood is the co-chair of the Veterans Network and a member of the Board of Advisors to the Children of Fallen Patriots Foundation. He earned a B.A. from Georgetown University, an M.A. from the Naval War College and an MBA from the Darden School of Business.
