Christopher Lynch is a Managing Director of the firm’s corporate advisory business. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Lynch was a Director in the Mergers & Acquisitions Group of Merrill Lynch. Mr. Lynch’s recent transaction experience includes advising the Special Committee of the Board of Directors of Universal Truckload Services on the acquisition of LINC Logistics; the United States Postal Service on the restructuring of its business model; Burlington Northern on its sale to Berkshire Hathaway; YRC Worldwide creditors in connection with strategic alternatives; Swift Transportation; The Carlyle Group on its joint venture with RPK; AFL Private Ltd on its sale to FedEx Express; Dakota, Minnesota & Eastern Railroad on its sale to Canadian Pacific Railway; and Oaktree Capital Management on its sale of Pegasus Aviation Finance Company to Terra Firma. Mr. Lynch began his career as a Certified Public Accountant with Coopers & Lybrand. Mr. Lynch holds a B.B.A. in accounting from Howard University and M.B.A. with distinction from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
