Bio

Antonia Lester is a managing director in the COO office of Evercore’s European investment banking business, based in London. Prior to joining the firm, she was the COO of the investment banking and capital markets division at Credit Suisse for EMEA, most recently working on the integration of CS and UBS. She also served in other roles at Credit Suisse, including head of risk and controls for IBCM EMEA; COO for the financial sponsors and financial institutions groups; and finance lawyer in general counsel. Previously, Ms. Lester was a finance lawyer at Allen & Overy, spending eight years in London, New York and Singapore. Ms. Lester holds a joint honors degree in economics and geography from the University of Newcastle upon Tyne. She qualified as a lawyer following completion of the Common Professional Examination and Legal Practice Course at The College of Law, London.
