Tony Magro has more than 40 years of experience providing strategic and M&A advice across a broad range of industries, including industrials, consumer products, media & telecommunications and technology. Mr. Magro’s recent transaction experience with public companies includes the spinoff and merger of Rexnord’s Process & Motion Control business with Regal Beloit; the stock acquisition of Elkay Manufacturing by Zurn Water Solutions; and the sale of MLB Advanced Media’s BAMTech business to Disney. Prior to joining Evercore in 2011, he was a vice chairman at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, where he headed three groups—M&A, industrials and natural resources. Earlier, he was at Bear Stearns, where he headed the M&A and consumer products groups. Mr. Magro serves on the International Advisory Board of EDHEC Business School, a top French business school. He was previously a board member of WhiteWave Foods, The John Sloan Dickey Center for International Understanding at Dartmouth, and the French-American School of New York. Mr. Magro graduated from Dartmouth and holds a Diploma in Wine (DipWSET), the highest level of professional certification from Wine & Spirts Education Trust (London). He is fluent in French and Italian.
