Anthony Laubi is a senior managing director in the firm’s strategic advisory practice. Mr. Laubi has been engaged in a wide range of domestic and cross-border corporate finance transactions, encompassing public and private M&A transactions, restructurings and debt and equity fundraisings involving both corporate and private equity clients. Recent transactions include advising on the sale of a minority interest in GPA Global; the sale of Neolith; the acquisition of Novolex by Apollo; Mayr-Melnhof Karton’s acquisition of Kwidzyn; Madison Dearborn Partners’ acquisitions of IPL Plastics; and the restructurings of Lecta and Frigoglass. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Laubi was a vice chairman of Credit Suisse’s investment banking and capital markets division for the EMEA (Europe, Middle East, Africa) region, with specific responsibility for its pulp, paper & packaging investment banking franchise. Before that, he spent 18 years at Deutsche Bank and Bankers Trust, where he was responsible for the industrials corporate advisory team in the EMEA region.
