Anisa Javeri is a senior managing director and founding member of Evercore’s Private Funds Group. Ms. Javeri co-leads the U.S. project management and advisory team, which is responsible for the development, strategic positioning and execution of all capital raises for the group’s U.S.-based private equity clients across buyout, growth, infrastructure and credit. She was previously based in London. Prior to joining Evercore, Ms. Javeri worked in the alternatives advisory and placement group at Neuberger Berman and with the same team at Lehman Brothers. In 2019, Ms. Javeri was named as one of “Six Women Who Keep Watch on Both Sides of Private-Equity Fundraising” by The Wall Street Journal. She is a co-head of the TURM Network (Traditionally Underrepresented Minorities) at Evercore. Ms. Javeri graduated with honours from Warwick University, earning a B.Sc. in economics and economic history.
