Anil Rachwani is a senior managing director of Evercore’s strategic advisory practice. He has over 20 years of corporate finance experience in the technology sector and leads the firm’s European technology advisory business. Notable assignments include advising Etraveli Group on its sale to Booking Holdings; NortonLifeLock on its acquisition of Avast; AutoForm Engineering on its sale to Carlyle Group; Network International on its acquisition of DPO Group; Planet on its investment from Advent International; Calypso Technology on its sale to Thoma Bravo; Unit4 on its sale to TA Associates; TietoEVRY on the sale of its oil & gas software business to Thoma Bravo; and Notonthehighstreet on its sale to Great Hill Partners. He has also advised on equity and debt capital markets transactions for clients across the technology sector, including Amadeus, AVG Technologies, CapGemini, Edenred Group, Indra, LHS, Misys, Network International, Nexi, Swisscom, TeamSystem and Zooplus. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. Rachwani was a managing director at J.P. Morgan, where headed the technology investment banking business for the EMEA region. He started his career with UBS’ TMT corporate finance team in London. He also worked at Star 21 Networks, a Frankfurt-based alternative telecoms platform, raising over €500 million in funding for the company. Mr. Rachwani has a first-class honours degree in engineering with management from King’s College London.
