Andrew MacNiven is a senior managing director and head of Evercore’s Canadian business. Mr. MacNiven has advised family-controlled companies, private equity entities, public companies and state-owned entities across all major industry groups. Recent significant clients include Petco, Blackstone, SunOpta Foods, VINCI, Parkland, Precision Drilling, Mullen Group, Tervita, Canbriam Energy, Trican Well Service, Pengrowth Energy and MEG Energy. Prior to joining Evercore, Mr. MacNiven served as a managing director with RBC Capital Markets. Throughout his career, he has engaged in a wide range of cross-border and domestic transactions focusing on public and private M&A, recapitalizations and restructurings, equity offerings and initial public offerings, and bank and capital markets debt transactions. Mr. MacNiven is active in the community and recently served as the chair of the Banff Centre Foundation. Mr. MacNiven has a Bachelor of Arts in Honors Business Administration from the Ivey Business School at Western University and is a chartered financial analyst.
