Alexandre Chenesseau is a managing director in Evercore’s strategic advisory business. Mr. Chenesseau advises both corporate and private equity clients on M&A transactions and strategic issues with a focus on our cross-border activities with Asia. Mr. Chenesseau’s long experience in investment banking includes advising clients in North America, Asia, Europe and Africa on numerous cross-border M&A transactions, joint ventures and capital raising projects, with a particular focus on the technology, media & entertainment, consumer, industrials, and business services sectors. Prior to Evercore, Mr. Chenesseau was at Lazard in the firm’s Paris, Beijing and New York offices. He was a member of the team that established Lazard’s Greater China practice in Beijing and Hong Kong, and lived in Asia for several years. More recently, he was a vice president in Lazard’s technology, media & telecom M&A group in New York. He started his career at Lazard Freres in Paris. He was selected by Asia Society as an Asia 21 Young Leader, the preeminent network of young leaders from across the Asia Pacific, representing the private, public and nonprofit sectors. He now serves as a term member at the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Chenesseau holds an M.S. in finance and strategy from Sciences Po Paris, and is an alumnus of Harvard Business School, where he completed the Program for Leadership Development.
