Garth Martin Bio

Garth is a Managing Director at Envoy Capital Advisors, based in Charlotte, North Carolina, where he focuses on investment banking coverage for technology-enabled and professional business services. With around a decade in financial services, Garth has extensive experience guiding global firms through M&A, Capital Raising, Market Assessments and other Corporate Finance engagements. Before co-founding Envoy Capital Advisors, Garth spent time at 7 Mile Advisors, a Charlotte-based Investment Bank, where he was responsible for sourcing and executing M&A transactions in Technology & Professional Services, Business Services, and Software. While there, he completed several transactions across verticals including Cloud Services, Digital Engineering, Marketing Services, Data & Analytics and Software, among others. Garth began his career as a CPA at CLA and Grant Thornton, two top-10 nationally ranked accounting firms. At Grant Thornton, he supported the national Transaction Advisory Services group in M&A deliverables, which gave him deep expertise in complex financial transactions and navigating the private markets. In his free time, Garth enjoys golfing, traveling, and spending time with his two daughters and wife. Garth holds a B.A. in Accounting from Messiah University.
