Mr. Becker provides merger and acquisition advisory services as a Managing Director with Emory & Co. He has 36 years of experience as a business owner, senior executive and consultant on strategic business and product issues for private companies in the food industry. Prior to joining Emory & Co., Mr. Becker served as President & CEO of the Becker Food Company, Inc., a leading processor and distributor of meat and poultry products for the food service industry in the Midwest. During his tenure at Becker Food Company, Mr. Becker was recognized as a pioneer in the food processing industry. He is a past president of the North American Association of Meat Processors, now part of the Meat Institute, and has served as an Officer and Director of numerous corporate, industry associations and community organizations. He is a past member of the Young Presidents’ Organization. He received an MBA from Marquette University and a BBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with majors in Marketing and Human Resources.
