Ms. Schrader’s background is in running companies and business divisions for nearly 20 years, with a focus in the life science sector for the last 10 years. Prior to joining the EMA team, she was President and CEO of the preclinical laboratory product company 3D Biomatrix, Inc. Before this she served as a senior business consultant for a medical device consulting firm for many years, after selling her own company in the retail sector. Early in her career Ms. Schrader worked in economic development at the regional, state and national levels where she facilitated technology spinout collaborations between the U.S. government and the private sector and managed a federally-funded revolving loan fund. She holds a BA in business and economics from Olivet College and a product development certification from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business. She played college varsity basketball and was inducted into the Collegiate Athletic Hall of Fame.
