Kai Karring Bio

Kai is a Partner with Eight Advisory in Zurich and a member of its Strategy & Operations practice. Kai has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting and transaction services. In recent years, he has focused on commercial and operational due diligence services for infrastructure and private equity clients covering sectors such as power generation/renewables, gas/hydrogen, district heating, waste, water, ports/terminals, and transportation. Before Kai joined Eight Advisory in March 2023, he was leading AFRY’s global transaction service line in the energy and infrastructure space and was responsible for the Swiss Management Consulting operations as a Managing Director. He started his career with Accenture before he moved to Switzerland to join The Advisory House 2004. Kai holds a Diploma in Industrial Engineering from Hochschule Mannheim and, as a Fulbright scholar, obtained a Master of Science in Business Administration from San Diego State University.
