Most recently, he served as an associate in a Wall Street investment bank where he participated in public and private equity issuances, public and private debt placements and buy-side and sell-side mergers and acquisitions of public and private companies. Mr. Cummings also has experience in corporate finance as an associate for a large, privately-owned manufacturing company. Additionally, he worked with a leading global turnaround / restructuring firm where he worked with distressed companies to accomplish in-court and out-of-court financial and operational restructurings which focused on cash flow preservation and generation, evaluation of operations and improvement potential, evaluation of strategic alternatives and the disposition of assets in Chapter 11 Section 363 sales and liquidations.
