Bio

David joined East Wind in 2010. He began his career at Goldman Sachs as an equity research analyst focused on the retail industry, after which he evaluated and managed investments in the retail, apparel, and branded consumer sectors as Senior Analyst at hedge fund Derchin Management and private equity fund GMM Capital. Subsequently, David consulted on key strategic initiatives to a number of privately held consumer brands including Vila Brands and Papaya King and to private equity investors including Star Avenue Capital in its acquisition of J Brand. David graduated magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, is a founding board member of the non-profit ArtWorks and is actively involved in a number of other non-profit organizations.
