Based in the firm’s Shanghai office, David is a managing director and leader of the firm’s Corporate Finance practice in Greater China. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, David was a managing director and Head of Asia investment banking of Cowen and Company Asia. He was responsible for all aspects of Cowen’s businesses in Asia including capital markets, M&A and private placements. He was also the Head of China Investment Banking at Rodman & Renshaw, where he spearheaded the Firm’s capital markets presence in China. Previously, David was the Chief China Representative at Piper Jaffray, where he built and led the investment banking team. Earlier in his career, David worked at DBS, Vickers Financial and Salomon Smith Barney. David holds an M.B.A. from the Richard Ivey School of Business and a B.A.Sc degree (Systems Engineering) from the University of Toronto.
