Chris Janssen joined Duff & Phelps in 1994. He is a managing director in the Chicago office and leader of the firm's Transaction Opinions practice. He has more than 20 years of experience in corporate transactions. Chris specializes in providing fairness opinions, solvency opinions and business valuations, and he has executed sell-side and buy-side mergers and acquisitions for his clients. He has advised both public and private companies and their boards of directors on numerous corporate transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buy-outs, going-private transactions, spin-offs, split-ups and recapitalizations. Chris has experience in a wide range of industries, such as business services, retail, technology, real estate, and manufacturing. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Chris was a commercial lender with the Northern Trust Company in Chicago. Chris holds an M.B.A. in finance and marketing from Northwestern University's J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management and a B.A. in economics from Northwestern University. He is a FINRA Series 7 and 63 registered representative.
