Atul Agarwal is a managing director in the Transaction Advisory Services practice of Duff & Phelps, A Kroll Business, based in the London office. He leverages over 20 years of experience providing advisory services to both corporates and PE firms on all aspects of the pre and post deal cycle, including operational and technology due diligence, carve-out and separation, post-deal integration and value creation. At Duff & Phelps, A Kroll Business, Atul delivers operational and technology capabilities as part of the firm’s Comprehensive Due Diligence Solution. Prior to joining Duff & Phelps, Atul was an associate partner in the Transaction Strategy and Execution team at Ernst & Young (EY), where he was responsible for providing operational advice to clients across the transaction lifecycle from pre-to post-deal. Before joining EY, Atul worked for Boston Consulting Group as a principal, where he guided consumer and healthcare clients on strategy, operations and value creation. Atul's transaction advisory experiences include projects across industry sectors ranging from food and beverage, consumer non-durables, tobacco and aerospace to metals, mining, logistics, couriers and utilities. He brings a practical and pragmatic approach focused on deal closure and value realization. Atul holds a master's degree in operations management from Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology.
