Jeff Baker is a Managing Partner at Drake Star Partners. Jeff has over 10 years of experience in Investment and Merchant Banking and specializes in advising technology and technology enabled services companies on M&A and private placement transactions. Prior to joining Drake Star Partners, Jeff was Vice President at Avendus Capital in New York, where he was responsible for advisory transactions in the technology segment. Previously, Jeff has worked with Berkery, Noyes & Capstone Partners where he executed mergers and acquisitions focused on technology and technology enabled business services companies. Jeff started his career with Rational Software which was later acquired by IBM. Jeff holds an MBA in Corporate Finance and Strategy from New York University’s Stern School of Business and a BA in Political Science from Tufts University. Additionally, he holds Series 7, 63 & 79 securities licenses.
