Gaby Silvestris has over 15 years of private equity and cross-border experience in M&A and corporate finance at international boutique investment banks. Gaby focuses on the technology and technology-enabled services sector and has advised C-Suite executives and shareholders of private and private equity-backed companies on every aspect of value creation and realization. Having worked both in the corporate and banking worlds, Gaby brings a rounded perspective and a unique blend of commercial and technical skills to her clients. Prior to her career in investment banking in London, she held Financial Director roles at one of the largest media companies in Latin America (now part of Fox Media), as well as other technology and telecoms businesses in the region. Before joining Drake Star, Gaby was a Managing Director at Equiteq, where she successfully led many complex cross-border transactions, some of which won prestigious international M&A awards and industry recognition. Over her M&A and corporate finance career, Gaby was part of the lead advisory team at a major accountancy firm, and she also held senior advisor positions at global boutique investment banks focusing on the technology and technology-enabled services industry. Gaby holds a Corporate Finance Degree by the ICAEW and graduated with honors as a fully qualified accountant (Contador Publico; degree equivalent to “Chartered Accountant / CPA”) from the University of Buenos Aires, Argentina. She also received an honor for the Best Overall Marks (Leaving Year) from the Buenos Aires Stock Exchange.
