Ryan Shields Bio

Ryan joined Dow Schofield Watts in 2024 as a Partner in the Midlands Corporate Finance team. An ACA-qualified Corporate Financier, he spent over 10 years at Grant Thornton advising entrepreneurs, owner-managers, private equity and large corporates on a range of mid-market M&A transactions. Ryan has significant experience in selling privately owned businesses, between £10m to £150m, to UK and International trade acquirers and private equity investors. His sector expertise and network is across the business support services (built environment and energy services), industrials and technology sectors.
