Tom Bell is a Managing Director at District Capital Partners. Prior to joining DCP, Tom was Senior Vice President of Corporate Development for Millennial Media (NASDAQ:MM), where he led the successful acquisition of multiple companies in the Mobile Advertising market. Prior to Millennial Media, Tom was Vice President of Corporate Development at Verisign (NASDAQ:VRSN), where he led over 30 strategic transactions with total consideration of nearly $1.8B. Tom led multiple acquisitions in support of Verisign operating units in the Internet Security and Cloud Infrastructure markets. In addition, Tom co-led a company-wide divestiture program which resulted in the sale of 10 operating units, including the divestiture of the Verisign Security Services business to Symantec. Tom also led and managed multiple acquisition integration and divestiture separation processes. Tom started his career as a financial analyst and commercial lending officer for Citizens Bank. Tom has a degree in Business/Economics and French from Wheaton College and an MBA from the McDonough School of Business at Georgetown University. When not at DCP, Tom enjoys spending time with his two daughters (mostly spent driving to ballet practices and soccer games) and rooting for the New England Patriots. If he weren’t at DCP, Tom would be guiding fly fishing trips in Montana.
