John is well known for his close relationships with and commitment to his clients. He takes a hands-on approach to client work and, while other team members will be involved, John likes to understand the full picture. His clients appreciate that he is always available to answer questions or talk through any issues that come up. This helps create the two-way trust that John and his clients value so highly. John’s core focus is small and medium sized businesses and he has completed a number of management buyouts over the past few years, which meant working with both individuals and management teams. He has extensive experience working with AIM-listed companies. John has carried out a number of transactions in the support services sector (recruitment, logistics, warehousing) but can apply his broad corporate finance skills across a diverse range of sectors. John trained as an auditor with another medium-sized accounting firm and is a qualified chartered accountant. He joined Devonshire Corporate Finance in 2015 having previously worked as a Director of Corporate Finance for one of AIM’s largest integrated nominated advisory and broking houses.
