Alex joined Deutsche Numis’ corporate broking team in 2005, where he played a critical role in building and developing the retained corporate client base and equity capital markets capability. He was appointed Head of Investment Banking in 2015. Rising rapidly through the ranks, he was appointed Co-CEO of Deutsche Numis in 2016. Alex and fellow Co-CEO Ross Mitchinson are a close-knit team and have worked together for more than 15 years, developing complementary skillsets that help them oversee the ambition and strategy of Deutsche Numis. Alex is known for pioneering the company’s private growth capital business, advising some of the world’s most ambitious private companies, and was appointed lead of Deutsche Bank’s global private growth capital team in 2024. The team connects leading entrepreneurs with global growth investors to deliver strategic equity solutions.
