Tej has over 20 years of investment banking, principal investing and consulting experience in the tech sector. He is Managing Director, Head of US West Coast Software at Deutsche Bank where he focuses on software companies globally. Prior to Deutsche Bank, Tej was Founder and Senior Managing Director of the US Technology group at Macquarie Capital and responsible for investment banking and principal investments in the Software, Data and Internet sectors. In 2010, he joined Macquarie where he founded the firm's US Technology investment and merchant banking practice. In 2013, he opened the firm's San Francisco TMT office. Prior to joining Macquarie, Tej was a Vice President at Table Rock Capital, a private equity firm investing in Infrastructure assets. Previously, Tej was a Vice President at Morgan Stanley's investment banking division, an Associate at Lehman Brothers' investment banking division and a management consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers. Tej received an MBA from The University of Chicago Booth School of Business and a BS in Systems Engineering from the University of Virginia.
