Bio

Pierre Tessier oversees Desjardins Capital's growth capital investment teams and external investment funds across Quebec. He has more than 23 years of experience in financing, investing and management. Before joining Desjardins in 2018, Pierre acted as Vice-President of Specialized Financing and Tax Measures for Investissement Québec, where he was at the head of numerous large-scale transactions in Quebec and abroad. He was an associate manager for Accès Capital Québec from 2004 to 2010. He's recognized for his knowledge of Quebec's regions and his desire to create value for Quebec businesses. He has served on the boards of several private and public companies. Pierre holds a bachelor of business administration and a licence in accounting from Université Laval. He's a member of the Quebec CPA Order.
