Marisol has been leading Desjardins Capital's team of investment professionals since November 2023. Her career with the Desjardins Group began in 1999 when she joined Développement International Desjardins (DID), where she held the position of Vice-President, Investments and Operating Contracts. In this capacity, she managed private investments in the financial sector and led financial institutions dedicated to supporting and financing businesses located in developing countries. She then joined Desjardins Insurance, where she managed and govern technology and large-scale modernization programs. Passionate about entrepreneurship and technology, able to develop a vision and endowed with great interpersonal skills, she knows how to build and nurture fruitful partnerships for the benefit of the investee’s companies. Skilled at developing strategic relationships built on trust, she's always finding new and creative solutions to benefit everyone involved. Marisol holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and a Master’s degree in Finance (M. Sc. Finance) from Université de Sherbrooke. She is a member of the Quebec CPA Order and has served on several boards of companies in the financial sector outside Canada.
