Sean Thomas is Managing Director at DelMorgan & Co. Mr. Thomas is a visionary senior executive with over 25 years of experience in strategic business growth, global operations and financial performance accountability across diverse industries, including defense, logistics, maritime, energy and aerospace. With a proven track record of success, Mr. Thomas brings a unique blend of innovative thinking and strategic vision to his roles, assisting in the realization of long-term, sustainable business operations aligned with financial, social, environmental and shareholder objectives. Mr. Thomas’s extensive career includes founding and leading The Straya Group, a boutique consulting firm in the U.S. and Australia providing strategic leadership and business advice to commercial, government and defense clients in the energy, logistics, infrastructure and maritime sectors. Prior to The Straya Group, Mr. Thomas served as President & CEO of Alaska Aerospace Corporation, where he guided a $50 million capital raise program and established strategic partnerships that resulted in a 400% year-over-year increase in launch commitments. He also held the role of Managing Director at Crowley Australia Pty Ltd, where he led a $300 million capital raise and subsequent design and construction of a $200 million energy storage infrastructure project that strategically influenced innovations in logistics and maritime capability development throughout Australia going forward. Mr. Thomas’s earlier roles included Vice President of Global Energy Solutions at Crowley, where he expanded a nascent business unit to a $100 million annual revenue operation and earlier led a $300 million annual P&L, and overseeing operations of multiple fuel terminals and fleets. Mr. Thomas’s educational background includes an M.B.A. from the University of Alaska Anchorage, an M.S. in Marine Resource Management from Texas A&M University and a B.S. in Environmental Sciences from the University of Notre Dame. He holds a Top-Secret Clearance, is a certified Project Management Professional (PMP) and has completed executive leadership programs at Harvard University. Throughout his career, Mr. Thomas has been recognized as an internationally renowned subject matter expert in energy and logistics solutions for government, military and commercial clients. His professional affiliations include serving as Co-Chair of the Energy Sub-Committee for Military Distribution of the National Defense Transportation Association and as a former member of the Arctic Economic Council. He has also been honored as a distinguished visitor aboard the U.S. Navy’s CVN-72 USS Abraham Lincoln.
