Kurtis Goos is a Managing Director with DelMorgan & Co. With over thirty years of experience in corporate M&A, investment banking, private equity and venture capital, Mr. Goos is based in Scottsdale, Arizona and Minneapolis, Minnesota. His deep experience in healthcare and life sciences – ranging from medical devices, medical software and wearables, pharma, biotechnology, telemedicine, payer and provider service networks and medical manufacturing – underlies his specialized area of focus. Prior to DelMorgan, Mr. Goos successfully built and sold three separate medical device and connected care companies. He also brings industry and President/CEO level experience from start-up, mid-cap and Fortune 500 medical device, manufacturing, software and telemedicine companies. He has held a number of global senior management roles in corporate M&A, marketing and strategic planning with several leading global medical device companies, including St. Jude Medical (Abbott), Medtronic, Guidant (Boston Scientific), Carestream Health and LivaNova. Mr. Goos has advised numerous private equity firms on mergers, acquisitions and portfolio management, ranging from large-caps to start-ups in medical devices, telemedicine, medical software and contract manufacturing. Mr. Goos brings extensive global experience on both the buy- and sell-side of M&A deal structuring for corporate and private equity investors seeking domestic and international opportunities. Mr. Goos is well respected in the industry for his specialized expertise that extends beyond his strong executive leadership experiences. Mr. Goos is a strong advocate for carefully defined strategic planning and analytics and often leads technical and scientific diligence with deep market intelligence and research. Mr. Goos is often traveling to meet valued clients to explore corporate development opportunities for investment and divestitures, restructuring or capital raise transactions. His global network of senior level executives, directors of boards, multi-national companies and corporate investors uniquely qualifies him to help find, execute and lead client solutions within DelMorgan’s healthcare and life sciences practices. Mr. Goos holds a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing and Business Management and a Master’s degree in Business Administration from the University of St. Thomas Opus College of Business. Mr. Goos enjoys travel and time with his family and is active in the community, and he serves on several corporate and civic boards, including AllerMed Pharmaceuticals, TheraTec, the American Heart Association and the American Cancer Society.
